Adults may request a release to play outside of the province for Canadian Championships. An individual’s first priority is to any team from New Brunswick attending the event.
The goal of the adult release policy is to allow additional opportunities for New Brunswick athletes to compete at a Canadian Championship, while ensuring New Brunswick teams have first priority to New Brunswick athletes.
Procedure
To request a release, members must submit their request for release via the Adult Release Request Form between April 15th and April 22nd, 2026. Decisions on requests for releases will be made no later than by May 6th, 2026.
The Executive Director or designate holds the right to consider requests for release after the deadline.
Individuals requesting a release must be registered with Softball NB via RAMP for the current season before their release will be considered.
Once the above information has been received the Executive Director will review and notify you if your request has been approved or denied. If approved, the Executive Director will notify the province you will be representing of the release.
